Converse Waterproof Chuck Taylor

To celebrate its 100 year anniversary, Converse is releasing a brand new pair of sneakers, made in collaboration with GORE-TEX. You guessed it, they are waterproof.

Gore-Tex is a waterproof, breathable fabric membrane and registered trademark of W. L. Gore and Associates. Invented in 1969, Gore-Tex is able to repel liquid water while allowing water vapor to pass through. It is designed to be a lightweight, waterproof fabric for all-weather use.

The new pair of Converse GORE-TEX Chuck Taylors promises to be a hit for those feeling nostalgic about the ‘70s. As the presentation video shows, the waterproof Chuck Taylors are not afraid of being dunked into water. That means that you’re feet will be kept dry, in the most fashionable way possible.

Rumored to be released on the market in September, the new Chuck Taylor All Star will allegedly be priced at $135.

I'm Jenny. I moved to rainy Ireland several years ago and I had to learn how to be prepared for the constant spring/fall that is the weather on the Emerald Isle. If you're always cold, always miserable because of the rain, maybe it's not the weather at fault (all the time 😀 ). A wise man once told me that there's no bad weather, just bad clothes. So I acted accordingly 🙂
