Whenever you say the phrase “waterproof work boots”, it kinda makes sense, doesn’t it? If you’re into heavy duty working, having a pair of waterproof work boots sounds pretty mandatory. You’re already getting your hands dirty and performing hard manual labor, so you should have the necessary equipment to keep your body as protected as possible.
We’ve looked into a couple dozen waterproof work boots and decided to show you some of the best we found.
Timberland PRO Men’s Hyperion Waterproof Work Boots
By now, you’ve most likely heard about Timberland. With sizes that vary from 7 to 15, it’s safe to say that there’s a pair of Timberland PRO Men’s Hyperion Waterproof Work Boots for everyone. Since Timberland is well known for producing high quality apparel, these working boots make no exception.
Customers will vouch for the comfiness of these boots. Feet won’t hurt even after 12 straight hours of wearing them and they not only save you from feet sores, but also from back pains. However, after a period of usage, the reinforced toe material started separating from the boots.
Another downside reported by customers is that these boots are not slip-resistant. Even if they manage to keep your feet dry, you may find yourself in a position where standing on your own 2 feet becomes difficult.
They have some features that are really worth the money, such as:
- Leather composition, with a waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry.
- XL Alloy safety toe provides lightweight protection and a generous fit.
- Dual-purpose top hardware for instant lacing customization.
- Anti-fatigue system, to make sure your feet can feel as fresh as possible even when you’re working over-time.
The last feature really deserves some extra appraisal. These waterproof work boots were designed to absorb shock, so that your feet can still feel energetic after long hours. Contoured insoles were included to provide maximum support at key pressure points and impact zones, like the heel and ball of the foot.
EVER BOOTS “Ultra Dry” Men’s Premium Leather Waterproof Work Boots
This was our second choice in terms of waterproof work boots because they feature all the things that a good boot should have. First of all, they are made out of leather, which means they are durable. The rubber sole ensures a high level of comfort. The comfortable PU midsole is flexible and makes these boots lightweight, as well as sturdy.
They come with an insulated lining that keep your feet warm. They are ideal in any line of work, from heavy duty construction to gardening. They are also good for farmers, landscapers or even for those passionate about hiking. One downside that we discovered in this particular pair of boots (compared to models that are similar in both price and features) is the fact that these don’t come with toe protection. Should you drop something heavy on your feet while you’re wearing these boots, you may start reconsidering your purchase. But if there are low chances of you getting hurt when working, they are definitely a worthy purchase.
A great thing about this particular pair of boots is that their sole was designed in a such way to mold to the shape of your feet and provide the proper cushioning. This means that even if you work 10-12 hours daily and you have to stand up most of the time, the EVER BOOTS are going to do their job.
Timberland Pro Men’s Direct Attach 8″ Waterproof Work Boots
Since Timberland is pretty specialized in manufacturing some of the best leather boots in the world, it shouldn’t be any surprise that we have another pair in our top 5. Timberland’s Pro Men is treated the mesh linings and open-cell polyurethane comfort insole with Agion antimicrobial treatment to resist odors. It also features an incorporated nylon shock diffusion plate to keep your foot rigid where you need the most support.
To enhance its waterproof features, Timberland has also included seam-sealed waterproof leather uppers. The padded collar is going to add a lot of comfort for people who are always on the move. They also feature a lightweight blown thermal plastic midsole, which means that even if you’re standing for hours straight, the cushioning will do its job and prevent you from having sore feet.
Even more, these waterproof work boots feature Timberland PRO oil-resistant, non-marking rubber outsole with rugged rubber lugs for durable traction.
The boot had hard toe and no steel toe, for those who are particularly interested in these features. Even so, they are an ideal pair for those who need arch support.
Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots
Even if they are not particularly advertised as work boots, these Timberlands have drawn our attention because of their 4.5 out 5 stars reviews, totalling 4,500 customer votes. With a combination of rubber and textile, these boots seems to also combine sturdiness and elegance, for all those who care about their looks and keeping their feet dry.
The Timberland White Ledge Men’s Waterproof Boots have been designed for the hiker, the outdoors’ man. But if you like their features, nobody’s stopping you from trying a pair at work as well. Let’s see what all the fuss is about. These boots are made from full-grain waterproof leather and seam-sealed, to make sure your feet stay dry even when the outside of your boots doesn’t. They come with a breathable footbed and multidirectional rubber lugs, which are going to keep your foot both comfortable and ready for pedalling when you’re out hiking. The boots come with a padded collar, simplifying movement and providing comfort every time you’re wearing them.
This pair of boots features Timberland’s B.S.F.P. (Brake, Support, Flex, and Propel) system to provide you with excellent traction.
If we really have to choose, the Timberland PRO Men’s Hyperion Waterproof Work Boots are what we’d buy. However, the other 3 models are also really good, as they have all the features of a good pair of waterproof work boots: durability, proper materials, good soles and breathable fabric.
